Still so very bummed that I had to cancel my trip to NYC. I was looking forward to meeting you and so many others and reconnecting with friends I haven’t seen since Chicago last year. I will be there in spirit. Have a SUPER awesome time. My tip, enjoy yourself. Do what you want to do. If some friends are going one place and you really want to go somewhere else it’s OK!!! I was in Chicago last year to meet many people and tried to split my time between a few different groups. I had a blast and I know you will too!

Next year I’m in for sure!!!

Ok, I’m SO about to email you my number because I really do need to meet you at some point. Awkward hugs FTW!

For what it’s worth, the hardest part of BlogHer ’09 for me was leaving Catie overnight (for THREE nights!!). I’d never done that before, Dave had never been on Solo Parent Duty for that long, and I was just totally stressed about it. But you know what? It was totally fine. Dave handled everything like a pro, they both had a fabulous weekend, and I even got to video chat with them on Skype a couple of times. So you’ll be fine.
