A couple weeks ago Jim made the grave error of mentioning that he missed having pets. He then proceeded to tell me that “on numerous occasions” he had almost come home with a cat.

Um. Dude. I want a cat. NOW.

So over the course of the week after that conversation I became slightly kitten obsessed. Maybe. Just a little. I went to different places and looked around some. During my weekly grocery shopping fun I picked up kitten food, litter and a litter pan…just so I’d be ready when the perfect little kitty found me.

I must say that I exhibited self restraint during this search, which is NOT something that I am known for. Then I found her. The most perfect little kitty for us. A little lady with a wonderful attitude: 3/4 snuggle and 1/4 pure playfulness.

Her name is Tillie.
