I am EXCITED. DO YOU HEAR ME INTERNETZ?? EXCITED!

Would you like to know why? Come on, I know you are all just dying to know. Holding your breath…all that good stuff.

This is why:

Today, at 2pm EST Jim’s mom will come and pick up the boys like she does every Friday.

Except this Friday, instead of Jim and I going to work…we are off.

This Friday, instead of her bringing them home…she is keeping them overnight.

This Friday, instead of being two people who pass each other on our seperate ways through the day…are going to be a couple.

We are going shopping for the new house. We are going on a DATE!  We are going to have some drinks and not feel guilty.

Best of all? On Saturday morning we are going to get up when we are done sleeping, and not one second before.

I can’t wait. As much as I love my boys, I have really been yearning for some time with Jim. Chase was such a good baby that we were able to leave him overnight at a much younger age. Jimmy was a miserable mess who didn’t understand that gloriousness(totally a word, don’t judge) until recently so this is a first for him.

Sigh…is it 2 yet?
