The best thing about shots and needles is that they last just a minute. All the bad stuff is the worrying in advance. If you can remember that, can pound it into your head, maybe you can talk yourself off the ledge just a little, reduce the worrying down to, say, 80% instead of 110%.

That aside though, congrats on being the best one, the one they wanted, and hooray for the good schedule too! *hugs*

The point is they picked you, so good luck! Shots suck and the yearly TB test too, but you’ll get used to it. Small price to pay for what seems like the job you were really hoping for. Here Here to bigger paychecks!
