I love that she was part of the Appalachian Trail Club. That is something that I always wanted to do. I can just imagine her in '30s get-up, hiking along the trail, having a great time. =)

I think that the people born in the early 1900's have seen more changes in this world that other generations will. I can't imagine living that long. I lost my Aunt last year at 91 and she was still sharp and living on her own. She never had children, maybe that helped! One of my Grandmothers was hard too, I think they saw too much.
